Men Of War: Red Tide là phần mở rộng tiếp theo của dòng game RTS nổi tiếng Men Of War. Red Tide giới thiệu câu chuyện mới dựa trên nhân vật Alexander Zorich. Đồng thời nó cũng đem lại hàng tá sự nâng cấp và làm mới các đơn vị quân lẫn vũ khí.
Men Of War: Red Tide là sự kết hợp đấy thú vị giữa dòng RTS và dòng hành động góc nhìn người thứ 3, mang lại một luồng gió mới trong thể loại chiến tranh lấy đề tài thế chiến 2. Cuộc chơi xuyên suốt 20 nhiệm vụ, Men Of War: Red Tide cho phép game thủ điều khiển lực lượng Black Coast - Thủy quân lục chiến của Xô Viết.
Game thủ trực tiếp điều khiển các đơn vị mới bao gồm: Black Coats, xe tăng, pháo tự hành, thiết giáp, máy bay thả lính, pháo binh và các loại vũ khí mới của địch mà người chơi có thể chiếm giữ và sử dụng. Đồng thời game mở ra các chức năng hỗ trợ hàng không mới bao gồm tiêm kích, phi cơ ném bom, khinh khí cầu trinh sát. Ngoài ra người chơi còn có thể nhận được sự hỗ trợ hỏa lực từ tuần dương hạm, tàu khu trục và tàu tuần tra.
Các trận đánh nổi tiếng trong thế chiến 2 sẽ được tái hiện sâu sắc như Odessa, Sevastopol, Theodosia, Eltingen, Nikolaev và Constanta.
