Turok 2 Music Fix
- Install VirtualCloneDrive from the Turok_2-Music_Only_CCD-3DSL folder.
- You can use other virtual drive software with .ccd support, this one is freeware though.
- Mount the .ccd file in your virtual drive.
- That is all, music should now play.
D3D Widescreen Patches
- The game is pre-setup to run in D3D 1920x1080 resolution.
- If you want to change this, enter the Patches and Fixes Folder.
- Go to the D3D Widescreen Patches folder.
- Open the folder containing the resolution you want to use.
- Copy the three files to to root directory Turok 2.
- Overwrite when prompted.

Glide3x Wrapper 1920x1080 Alternative Patch
- If for some reason D3D is not working, you can try using the glide wrapper.
- This translates the old Glide driver calls to OpenGL, slower than D3D.
- Go to Patches and Fixes, Open the WidescreenGlide3x folder, open the patch folder.
- Copy all three files exluding readme.txt to root directory Turok 2.
- Overwrite.
- Run dgVoodooSetup.exe.
- Glide Tab.
- Set your resolution to 1920x1080.
- Apply.
- Open Turok 2 launcher.
- Options > Video.
- Select Set Glide render driver.
- Game should now run in desired resolution fullscreen.
Windows 10 Fullscreen Workaround (alt for Win 8/8.1 users)
- Open Windows 10 Fullscreen folder in Patches and Fixes.
- Install AutoHotKey from site or provided installer.
- Right click Fullscreen Script.ahk
- Run as Administrator
- Start Turok 2 Launcher
- Start Game
- Press Alt+Ctrl+F
- You can toggle "fullscreen" on or off using this key combo.
- This is actually a borderless window hack, not true fullscreen but can't really tell.
- The script removes the window border and title bar of any active window, and moves the
window so that it fills the screen.

Field of View (FOV) Is Too Low!
- In console (` key left of 1) set fov <45-90> to change fov. I recommend set fov 80/90.

Controls Are Outdated!
- The file ModernControls.key in Patches and Fixes has an updated
control scheme to fit modern environments, its pre-set.
(e.g WASD). If you need it, go to Options -> Controls -> Load.
Multiplayer Doesn't Work!
- MP Version 1.04 has extra multiplayer modes.
- If behind router game host must port forward 12000-13000, protocols both TCP/UDP
for Direct IP, LAN mode try Hamachi or alternative.
- Host find your IP at:

- Can't find a way to properly fix this, best to turn down music volume ingame
and then crank your speakers to compensate.
- Setting PC speakers to stereo if you have surround sound can help a bit.

it'll blow your ears out!

- Its an N64 port so the audio quality is muddy 22Khz, nothing can be done..yet,
this is normal.
Cutscenes Not Playing!
- Install iv5play codec found in Patches and Fixes folder.
- Its an old Intel video codec.
Game Is Running Like Total Shit!
- Run patcher with /uninstall key: T2SOECDM.exe /uninstall if you have issues
playing this on a multiprocessor PC. Run T2SOECDM.EXE again to repatch
and answer NO to the uni-processor patch.

Use 7zip to extract.
This is the original USA release which was never protected by any DRM/CD Checks, straight from the retail box. The EXE needs to be modified however if you want to play on a modern Windows operating system. Everything is provided in one easy to understand package here. You won't need a crack. The Euro/UK versions were protected by securom and the German version was lovingly censored to protect your innocent eyes, so we're not using those releases!
This release has the game's exe modified with the music/multicore processor fixes so it works correctly in Windows XP and up to Windows 10. Its set to run at 1920x1080 res but any resolution is possible, just read further down. The game is already patched to the last official patch version 1.04.

Probably not much point in keeping the 1.03 launcher but before gamespy
