Bộ phim là câu chuyện tình đầy cảm động và trắc trở giữa chàng thanh niên phàm trần Đồng Vĩnh với một tiên nữ tên Tiểu Thất. Do nghịch ngợm, bướng bỉnh và hay gây rối nên Tiểu Thất bị tước hết phép tiên và đày xuống trần gian. Nàng phải làm được 100 việc tốt thì mới được trở lại thiên đình. Tại trần gian, nàng đã gặp gỡ và yêu chàng thanh niên chính trực, tài năng tên là Đồng Vĩnh. Nhưng thế giới người và tiên khác biệt, liệu hai người có giữ được tình yêu của mình không?
Trên thiên đình có một khu vực tên U Minh Viên, là nơi để giam cầm những thần tiên bị mắc lỗi. Nhị tỉ của Tiểu Thất là Chức Nữ và một con Tiểu Ly Miêu cũng bị giam giữ ở đây. Khi Tiểu Thất còn ở trên thiên đình, trong một lần dạo chơi đến đây, nàng đã bị Tiểu Ly miêu lừa để thả nó ra. Tiểu Ly Miêu xuống trần, biến thành một cô gái xinh đẹp tên là Hương Tuyết Hải. Cô ta muốn lấy được trái tim của 100 hiếu tử để luyện thành Liên Thành ma pháp, chống đối lại thiên đình, gây loạn lạc trên trần thế.
Đồng Vĩnh, Nguyên Bảo và Hạo Kỳ là ba người bạn thân. Ly Miêu đã lợi dụng Hạo Kỳ để giúp cô lấy được 100 trái tim hiếu tử đồng thời tìm mọi cách để khống chế Tiểu Thất. May nhờ có sự giúp sức của các tiên nữ tỉ tỉ, Tiểu Thất mới thoát được hiểm nguy. Nhưng liệu Đồng Vĩnh và Tiểu Thất có bảo vệ được tình yêu của mình và thiên đình có chấp nhận mối lương duyên này hay không?
