Game hành động chặt chém, cho phép 4 người chơi đồng hành cùng lúc trên một trận đấu, người chơi sẽ chọn lựa một trong 4 nhân vật Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang để khám phá một thế giới phiêu lưu mới, bên cạnh cốt truyện chính của bộ phim. Gameplay có thể nói rất quen thuộc với những ai từng tiếp xúc qua Dynasty Warriors hoặc Left 4 Dead, khi người chơi phải đối diện với hàng trăm kẻ thù cùng lúc. Hệ thống kỹ năng tương tự game nhập vai MOBA, khi người chơi càng đi sâu vào từng màn sẽ mở ra các tuyệt kỹ mới.
