Là sự kế thừa hoàn hảo cho phiên bản đầu tiên, Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Kaiba the Revenge mang đến những trải nghiệm hoàn toàn khác biệt với hơn 150 quân bài mới cùng những cải tiến về đồ họa lẫn gameplay.
So với Yugi ở phiên bản đầu tiên, người chơi dễ dàng nhận thấy sự thay đổi trong khâu thiết kế với đặc trưng mang phong cách Kaiba bao gồm hệ thống menu, sàn đấu,….Tuy nhiên, về cơ bản, lối chơi ở phần 2 vẫn được giữ nguyên. Có chăng là những nâng cấp của Konami ở phần kết hợp các là bài để tạo nên Fusion Card như đã từng nói trước đây.
Cũng như phần 1, Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Kaiba the Revenge là tựa game đòi hỏi người chơi phải “suy trước tính sau”, tìm cách cách khắc chế những quân bài mạnh của đối phương. Đồng thời, bạn cũng phải đưa ra phương án kết hợp tối ưu nhất để tạo nên những Fusion Card “bí mật” nhằm có thể lật ngược thế cờ khi bị dẫn trước trong cuộc chơi. Nghe thì có vẻ đơn giản nhưng để nắm vững những quy luật đó thì cũng không phải là chuyện “một sớm một chiều”.
Như đã nêu ở phần đầu, Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Kaiba the Revenge thể hiện một bộ mặt ấn tượng với những nâng cấp đáng giá về đồ họa. Rõ ràng, Konami đã cho thấy sự tiến bộ nhất định trong phần thiết kế của mình. Nhờ đó, các chi tiết trong game trở nên tinh tế và ít rườm rà hơn trước.
